Visnja and Tanja are sisters who love to share their passion for relaxation and skin therapy with their clients as well as extending their warm gracious hospitality at The Retreat Spa.
VISNJA
Visnja qualified as a skin and body therapist in 2006. After originally working in the hospitality industry, Visnja realised that her inherent nature was to help people feel nice. And so beauty therapy and relaxation was the obvious career choice. Upon completing her studies, Visnja worked with some of the local salons in Sale and Maffra, before moving to a prominent Medispa where she trained in delivering advanced skin and body treatments. After some years, Visnja decided to bring her experience in skin, wellness and relaxation back to her home town of Sale. She very quickly gained a good reputation with her clientele, which then led her to opening The Retreat - Skin Body Spa.
Since then Visnja has walked down the aisle and has had two children with her husband Hayden. Now that she has added 'juggling' to her repertoire, Visnja spends 2 days in the spa, and continues to bring her passion for true heart based service to each of her guests.

TANJA
After working with race horses for 6 years, Tanja was ready to move into a career that was, well lets say, a little more 'feminine'. Having experienced spa and salon treatments herself, Tanja felt very drawn to the spa and wellness industry and thus completed her training in Beauty Therapy in 2007. With a particular passion for skin care and relaxation therapies, Tanja is a true all-rounder and avid learner. She has completed training in advanced skincare and continues to attend educational seminars to ensure she has the most up to date and accurate information to help all skin conditions to find their best skin yet. Prior to joining Visnja at The Retreat, Tanja gained experience at a Spa Resort in Daylesford, followed by 2 years at a skin and laser clinic in Melbourne, before moving back to Sale to work in a local salon for 4 years. Tanja combines all of this experience with her natural ability in attention to detail and a caring nature.
Having grown up in Sale, Tanja is now settled in Wurruk and lives with her partner Mick and her family of animals. She is the eldest of 4 girls, a favourite Aunty and caring for people is how its always been.

JUANITA
We are pleased to introduce Juanita to all of our amazing clients! Juanita has over 20years experience in beauty, not only running her own beauty salon, primping and prepping Melbourne’s finest for all their events for 7 years, but also training up our 'up and comers' in the beauty Industry for over 9 years! Yes, this lady has done it all, and has made a tree change (luckily for us!) after meeting her husband Bruce and having a gorgeous little bundle named Matilda who’s now 1 years old.
Juanita has a passion for everything beauty, and is another down to earth personality to match our team. This hard working lady is our go to relaxation master, and her passion for making clients feel comfortable and relaxed comes through in all aspects of her work. We hope to have you enjoy a journey in our beauty spa with Juanita as your therapist very soon.
